Troubleshooting Emma runtime
From Emma
- I run Emma inside Mozilla/Firefox, I get the error dialog: "Emma.dll could not be found. Please reinstall emma."
- Emma plugin file (npemma.dll) is normally copied under the plugins directory of Mozilla/Firefox during installation. Emma installer also adds a registry entry:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\emma3d.org\Emma\Install Directory = "c:\program files\emma"
- which tells npemma.dll where the rest of the Emma DLLs, such as emma.dll, are. First check npemma.dll is in the plugins directory of your browser. Next check this registry entry to see if it is pointing to the correct location with the Emma DLLs.
